I will be coming from Utah, can anyone tell me how to find this place and how the weather is in September normally. I would love to hang out on a real nude beach. Somebody Please help!

RE:September?

Hi Thisguy. To find Collins Beach, use your Google Maps and look for Sauvie Island - it's on the northwest side of Portland, and Collins Beach is up on the northwest side of the island. There will be groups of cars parked along a gravel road. It's on the Columbia River and may have lower water levels this late in the season, but the ships can still navigate so there should be enough water to swim in. You'll need to stop at a grocery/convenience store and buy a day parking pass, which shouldn't be too expensive. You might also want to stop at one of the fruit and vegetable stands on the island because this time of year there is a lot of produce, although if you are flying back to Utah (or driving slowly) that may not work for you.

No guarantees on the weather. In September in this part of the country you'll probably still get some beautiful, warm days, but you might also get some rain showers and cooler temperatures. Good luck!
