About Ladies Bay

Welcome to Ladies Bay, a serene nudist haven located in the bustling city of Auckland. This clothing-optional beach is not only famed for its beautiful, secluded setting but also for its historical significance. Known among the local naturist community and international visitors, Ladies Bay offers a unique opportunity to embrace the freedom of naturism in a natural and welcoming environment.

Historically, Ladies Bay was a spot where women could enjoy the sun and sea away from the public eye, giving it a long-standing reputation as a safe space for those seeking privacy and tranquility. Today, it maintains its status as a nude beach, attracting both seasoned naturists and newcomers alike. However, it's important to note that the legal status of nudity here can sometimes be subject to change, so we recommend checking local guidelines before visiting.

The beach itself provides minimal amenities, encouraging a more natural and unadulterated beach experience. Visitors should come prepared with necessities, particularly sun protection and water. While it's a bit off the beaten path, the extra effort to reach Ladies Bay is well rewarded with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.

Whether you're a dedicated FKK enthusiast or a curious first-timer, Ladies Bay in Auckland is a charming spot that promises a refreshing escape from the everyday. So pack a towel, leave your worries (and swimsuit) behind, and come enjoy the liberating experience of Ladies Bay.

Ladies Bay Directions

Take the signposted path near the lookout down to the beach. Often quite a few tourists and people passing through, and usually some fishermen on the rocks. Gentlemens Bay is further along around the point, less busy but don't get caught at high tide.
