About Monte Marina

A collection of 47 naturist apartments located on the Jandia peninsula, southern Fuerteventura. Monte Marina is situated above Esquinzo beach, which is currently the northern end of the tourist strip that stretches all the way down to Morro del Jable. Thus you can walk (naked if you wish) north along the coastline for 10 - 15 kms, and meet very few people, but have plenty of different sandy beaches to choose from, or if you prefer people watching, head south (again naked if you wish), all the way down to the lighthouse. The beaches on the peninsula are mixed with pockets of textiles, then naturists, or sometimes all jumbled up. Every one seems to get along just fine.

The apartments themselves are nice and clean, with balconies. Kitchens are fully equipped if you wish to self cater. The complex is quiet, and once inside secluded. The naturist pool has a walk in ramp at one end, and is kept very clean. Nice sun beds with umbrellas if you wish. The co-run textile hotel is between the apartments and the beach, and has a restaurant with a great view over the beach. Meals there are good, but nothing special. However, the Maribu restaurant (adjacent to the apartments, with entrance around the corner) has great meals.

In Esquinzo village there is a small Spar supermarket, and a small sports bar. For more nightlife you have to go in to Morro del Jable (taxi or bus).
