Come and enjoy year round warmth and tranquil desert surroundings at SHANGRI LA RANCH. We believe that the best way to welcome newcomers to the nudist lifestyle is to allow them to ease into the nude environment at their own pace, therefore SHANGRI LA RANCH is clothing optional. We are a family...

How would this be in early July? I'm thinking of visiting Phoenix/Scottsdale around 6 -11th of july. I am thinking of stopping here, wouldn't mind some time nude around pool, or nude hiking.. in morning before gets to hot :).

RE:Early July...

Just got back from Shangri-La today after a 4 night stay there (Wednesday-Sunday). Had a great time and yes it was hot hot hot! Everything my fellow nude man mentioned was on point...especially drinking water.

Shangri-La's Bare Buns Cafe is only open on the following days and at the following times:
- Friday @ 5 p.m. for dinner
-Saturday @ 8 a.m. for breakfast and also serves lunch and dinner this day (times vary)
-Sunday @ 8 a.m.for breakfast (not sure if any other meals are provided since I checked out right after the office opened at 9)

Karioke is on Friday nights and there's a weekly dance on Saturday night.

The rooms are nice and clean and very adequate for what you'll need one for: sleeping. Most of your time will probably be spent around one of the pools, hot tub (which was inoperable during my visit due to re-sealing it, but will be working by July 4th) or just lounging around on deck. When the weather gets nicer I plan on using the new tent I bought (can't beat $10 camping per night although the $26 day use fee would still apply).

People are pretty friendly and cordial and some keep to themselves. Don't forget to obey the 5 mph speed limit while on the grounds! :)
