I keep finding new groups to join and I find myself having to resist the urge. I love talking about subjects as much as any other, but the sheer number is starting to be a bit of a problem. There are some groups I haven't posted to yet and I'm thinking I should probably drop them since I have nothing to add to what's already been said.

On the other hand, there are some groups that are more geographically centered (outside my area, though) and haveinteresting threads. One thread included the wish of some to go back to a time when the Europeans had yet to take North America from its first inhabitants and try to recapture the initial state of... well, simplicity, I guess. As one person put it, no taxes, plenty of wildlife, etc. He also liked the idea of the "women doing all the work." I can't speak for all Frist Nations, but I think the division of labour was not quite that.

In any case, I'm not sure I'd be ready to give up the vaccines, the central heating systems, running water, etc., but I'll admit the idea of the simple life does hold some interest to me. And what could be simpler than being naked when circumstances permit!
