I have always tried to keep as much of a balance as possible between male and female friends on this site. However, I've noticed that men are only too eager to become friends (but usually for the right reasons), while women can be reticent.
(Translation: If I come upon one more profile that says NO SINGLE MEN or COUPLES AND FEMALES ONLY, I will scream! I know I'm not the one responsible for creating this mess, but it can hurt all the same.)
Oh well, suffice it to say that I will continue to welcome anyone asking to be a friend as long as there is "full disclosure" (let me at least see your face) and a profile with at least a modicum of information. And if theproportion of men grows to 75 per cent or more, then so be it!
