There is a never-ending debate regarding photos showing erections (usually on men) and crotch shots (usually of women). Why it never ends is beyond me but, hey, that's my opinion.
First, the usual disclaimer: erections happen, and not always for sexual reasons. I know that. And women have the right sit or lie down with their legs spread and not expect anyone to react sexually to that. I know that, too.
For that matter, people of both sexes will sometimes bend over or take positions which, if no context is provided, can be interpreted as sexual even is nothing untoward is intended. I am fully cognizant of that.
HOWEVER we have to keep in mind that this site is not a closed site. Although we like to think of this site as a naturists/nudists-only site, its a fact that it also serves to bring information about naturism/nudism to the world at large. This includes the radically revolutionary notion that nude people dont necessarily have sex and dont necessarily think about it either. They just like doing everyday things without wearing clothes.
In other words, we want to normalise nudity for people who have yet to understand that nudity does not mean sex. Erection shots and crotch shots are counterproductive in this endeavour. All members claim to be nudists, yet SOME of us (and its unfortunately a very large number) continue to post questionable photos. I have no problem with you postingsuch photos per se. I only ask that you post them SOMEWHERE ELSE. Okay?
(I realise I may be writing all this for myself only since it only appears in this blog, but at least my position is now out there for all to see.)
