Hi there, im a long time nudist, first got interested at age 10 or 11. Parents were not nudists but eventually relaxed enough for me to embrace nudism openly at home. Nudism has been part of my lifes journey, I feel the lifestyle is an important part of me and Im fortunate to have been able to practice and enjoy its benefits often. Being undressed, experiencing nature, connecting on a natural level with other like minded souls and the world around me are all joys I appreciate.
Sadly, I've seen just how backwards anxiety over nudity is. We're constantly told that any human body that isn't 100% sexually attractive is gross and needs to be hidden, especially from kids. And I just don't get it. Beauty standards are a lie. Beauty magazines photoshop models to impossible standards. We don't have to be sexual while we're naked, because sex is an action, not a state of being. I find naturism to be the radical idea that nobody should feel ashamed of their bodies, and we all deserve to be treated with respect regardless of how much or little (if at all) we're covering our bodies.
