It finally happened!
We have a very private backyard that we can enjoy the outdoor kitchen, pool, spa and dining area. We pretty much never give it a thought to walk outside nude taking the trash, bbqing, or yard work. Last Monday I was cleaning up the pool deck from a spilled drink from the night before and also was picking up the deposits from the dogs that is a morning routine. Out of nowhere I see a man on a ladder looking into our yard. He said hello and he quickly informed me he was the painting contractor for the HOA common area walls and was painting ours today. I did get the notice but totally forgot about it. He was cool and started working I finished my two chores and offered him a bottle of water he declined and I wished him a good day and went inside. He finished painting and that was that. No big deal whatsoever.
That's hilarious! Did he keep watching as you were finishing your chores? I would have done the same thing though! I went out in my yard once and the neighbor had hired someone to trim his palm trees and had just climbed to the top before I noticed he was there. He couldn't care less and went about his work. You just never suspect someone to be there when going about your usual routine.
SunSeeker, that sounds like an encounter with a perfectly SENSIBLE and RATIONAL person! I'm sure it wasn't on his resume when he applied for the job, but it seems your HOA has hired just the right person to be scaling walls that look into homeowners' back yards! Someone who can ACCEPT what they might see...WITHOUT getting their knickers all in a knot about it! I'm sure, from your description of the way he reacted to seeing you naked, that he is NOT going to go blabbing it all over your neighborhood. And YOUR open acceptance of the worker seeing you nude was perfect, too! Offering the gentleman a drink was not only the friendly thing to do, but also a good way to show him that you are comfortable with your nudity AND comfortable with HIS seeing you naked. PERFECT, all the way around, if you ask me.
