Friend requests

Why am i unable to send friend requests, when i click on the friend+ icon im asked to log in if ido that , again im asked to log in, however others can send me friend requests

Not sure, but I do know that if you send a friends request and they neither accept or deny the request you cant then send another while the first is pending.
