I was able to visit once in 2011, wish I had more opportunities. There were a few nudist folks, friendly as always. It's a beautiful place, too bad it can't be a designated nude beach.

Turtle Creek near Mesick is a small, but very nice resort. You can stay for the day, or camp for several days. There is not much activity during the week. I don't go to any of the 'known' nudist beaches because I think the risk is too high. There are many isolated spots in the northern parts of the lower peninsula and especially the U.P. where there is little risk of running afoul of the law.
