Due to Hurricane Irma Canaveral National Seashore closed starting September 7, 2017 THRU September 14th. Starting September 15th, Apollo Beach will be open 8 AM - 8 PM & Playalinda Beach will be open 6 AM - 8 PM.

Hung out for about five hours on Saturday, 16 September and it was fabulous! Lots of folks on the beach, some sand missing since the previous visit last month, but it was great! Love that beach and everyone I chatted with was super nice. Many regulars hanging out that day. Arrived at 1130 AM and snagged one of two open spots at the lot 13 parking area!
