Haven't ridden nude often or far.
But I do know that when I tried to make my normal riding attire a pair of short running shorts, I got sores and rashes on my butt and thighs.
Same bike and seat with biking shorts and the problem went away.

The cover on my seat appears to be a synthetic fabric that does a good job of wicking the moisture away. Did about ten miles with it while nude and had no problems. I could see where vinyl would be bothersome.

Seattle and San Diego organizers are looking for volunteers to make 2018 World Naked Bike Ride possible.
