Don't go nude at San Onofre. It hasn't allowed nudity for several years.

Yes it has been illegal but if you go south of the fence onto the Camp Pendleton marine base you can be nude without getting a ticket from the park rangers. Everyone that goes nude is south of the fence. I go all the time there and have not had any issues. I have heard the MP has given tickets but I later found that those that got tickets were assholes or were having sex. If you just lay out and enjoy without doing stupid things then you should be fine and just told to leave the beach.
