Do you wash your kilts? If so what wash?

Neither of my kilts are wool. One is canvas and one is cotton. Both get thrown in the washer on cold when they are soiled. Air dried on the line outside

yes Ironing takes a long time - to get all the pleats right.

I have more kilts than I have chances to wear them, so I haven't had to wash any yet - and I'm not looking forward to it.

I do have a utility kilt - combat trouser material - that I wear for gardening etc. That is going to need washing after my last spell in the garden, so I'll let you know how I get on.
