Sydney winter
Somewhere near Cairns? Tewantin, near Noosa, peaked at 25.5C today which is better than the last few days, while Cairns cracked 28C and is 25.1C as I write. I know where I'd be going!
Alternatively, hot springs could work, but the ones around Melbourne are not cheap. Nice experience, though, even in the dead of winter, but they expect you to wear your togs. Not sure of Sydney springs options.
Looks like I'll be holding out and hoping for an early springtime.
I haven't been for a long time, but Babylon Spa and Sauna in Market City, Chinatown was a favourite through winter. Separate male / female sections. Many guys wear the provided thin pyjama-style shorts and robe, but some would make the most of the chance to stay naked.
Then there's 357 (gay) sauna where it is always warmer when the winter chill hits.
