I was able to get out finally. Took the dog out for some exercise we did about a 3 mile roundtrip. Zero interruptions and great weather, what else could I ask for.

I had a bothersome experience on a naked hike this weekend. I had my dogs with me, and they got into it with a bear with me standing nearby. There was no physical contact, but it was quite the scene. Once I got them called off and we backed up the hill, everyone went their own ways. If I hadn't had the dogs with me???

The only bear I saw in Colorado was a huge black thing that was sitting on the trail in the distance. Another guy came up the other way and we got it to move. Turns out it was a big dog. But it had the same effect on me. Im glad your dogs were with you. They are amazing deterrents. Though I read moose will attack a dog. Be safe out there.

Here is a pic I took summer of 2022 in my yard.
Mom and cub caught me not paying attention. Yes we are that close 20' Mom made sure that booboo. was up a tree and gave me a chance to back off.
