Outed by Ring Camera
I have the Ring App on my phone in order to help monitor my 80 year old parents. I recently obtained my own Ring cameras and started installing them. In hindsight, I realize I did an amature mistake. I set up my new camera while still logged in to the account of my parents. In installing my cameras, I was all over the place. One of my siblings, who also monitors my parents, called me and asked me if I had been naked in my garage. I was shocked at first and thinking that someone riding by had seen me. I told him yes, I was naked in my garage!He eventually told me that I was viewable on a camera. He said you have cameras in your house bro. and you need to put on some clothes. He is one of those people that constantly views cameras to be nosey. . I responded that I would not be putting on clothes, but ensuring that the cameras were disabled. I'll see him in person tomorrow at a family gathering and considering his past, I anticipate that everybody present will know about this situation. I hope they don't, but if he has blabbed his mouth, it may not be a good scene.
Well, my nakedness on camera was not mentioned at our family event. My brother didn't mention it to me but that does not mean he didn't tell others. He frequently has diarrhea of the mouth. My wife has been very vocal over the years around our immediate (and sometimes distant) family members and a few friends about us being empty nesters now. She's been a lot more vocal about it than me and has told many that they need to call us before dropping by unless they don't mind seeing us naked because we rarely wear clothes at home. I think most of them think she's joking and just running her mouth because it goes against their mindsets. I even believe our sons didn't believe it until each of them showed up unannounced at various times and discovered we were doing regular things naked. They have gotten better about calling before visiting now, especially when they are bringing friends with them. However, my mother still doesn't get it and was stopping by unannounced until I reminded her that my wife told them not to stop by unannounced. She threw a little fit and said she was grown and almost 80 years old, she could stop by when she wanted. Although she said it in a joking manner, I know she felt justified and confident with her statement. I really don't think she remembers the reason my wife recommended calling first. LOL
That's a very interesting story! I'm glad your daughters shut her down and I hope she learned a valuable lesson about running her mouth.
I'm wondering if anybody has had any success with being able to remain nude with non-nudist friends and family. I've read a few rare stories where people have stated that they stopped getting dressed for visitors. Eventually the visitors accepted their nudity and would continue to visit although they didn't feel comfortable getting nude themselves. We have some friends with whom we've shared our nudist lifestyle with but they think we're crazy. They have visited us several times and even gotten in the hot tub with us, but balk at getting naked. The ironic thing is that one couple we've spoken to has a long friendship history with us. The female has been my wife's best friend since grade school. I'm sure they have seen each other in various states of dress over the years and I know my wife showed her friend her nipples after she got them pierced. The male and I were roommates in college. We frequently saw each other naked when showering, getting dressed and even just beginning in the room. Both of us played football and were on the line. During the beginning of each season, due to the heat and 2 or 3 practices each day, we would get chaf between the legs. Our (and many other teammates) only remedy was to lay around during our free time without any underwear or pants, after medicating our raw groins. We didn't have air-conditioning back then so we keep the doors open with fans in the windows. We lived in a male dormitory and all of the football players showered together a few times everyday so nudity was no problem. However, my ex roommate doesn't seem to want to budge on getting naked in our hot tub. I've explained how natural it would be, but he stated that he knows it would be awkward because he gets erect every time he sees his wife naked. I'm thinking, everytime, at 60 years of age and after being married over 30 years? He's got it going on! LOL
