We need to come to a consensus on what to do when a woman walks into the men's locker room.

I see it's become common for female gym employees to enter the men's locker room. Especially in Planet Fitness. I asked around and found out that they deliberately hire more women than men so they always have a woman that can go into the women's locker room. Which means they don't always have men that can go into the men's locker room to clean.

So instead of the usual arguments about double standards, I think we need to reach a consensus about what is the proper etiquette for when it happens. I think we as nudists need to do it, because if we don't they will.

Like I said I see this a lot in Planet Fitness, and if you don't know Planet Fitness is the gym with the least amount of nudity. Me as a nudist I try to do my small part to normalize nudity. Especially in places like the locker room where a little nudity is supposed to be accepted. Not to mention that the guys that Don't shower or change are gross. They leave the gym all sweaty and probably stink.

I haven't been going too far. I just been getting naked before entering the shower and closing the curtain behind me. Just not to risk my clothes hitting the floor and getting wet. Then I dry my upper body in the shower but not so much my legs to avoid my towel getting wet. Then I walk to my locker in my towel where I take it off to dry my legs and get dressed. That way I show a little bit of nudity, but not so much to be obscene (according to textile standards).

The girl that used to clean didn't seem to have a problem with nudity and seen me naked a bunch of times. Which was great because nudity isn't obscene and she consented by walking in there and then lingering around when I need to get dressed. She didn't even announce when she was going in.

Now the new girl they have gives me the impression that she isn't as comfortable with nudity. When she walked in I seen her eyes just open up like she was nervous or shocked. I wasn't even naked at the time, and not to mention that she's the one in the men's locker room.

So my question is should we cover up for them or go about our business as usual?

Don't change a thing you do or better yet just drap3 the towel over your shoulder coming and going to the shower. It is the men's locker room. If they complain, remind them it is THE MEN'S LOCKER ROOM she entered. If they have a problem, they should hire men for the job.

I started going to LA Fitness a few years ago and recently Ive seen women cleaning the mens locker room while were actively using it. I was totally naked at my locker when I first saw a lady. I was shaking chef but did not change my routineno did the other naked men at the time. This is OUR space and women should not be there. Im pretty sure they dont have men cleaning the womens locker room. I think its a ridiculous gym policy. We men should not change our routine to accommodate someone who shouldnt be there in the first place.

I'm in agreement with this comment. Our locker room is OUR space. Should a woman enter they should EXPECT men should be doing our usually routine. We should further not expect to cover for them. Additionally, it should cause the same amount of disturbance should a man enter the woman's locker room, though we all know it would be escalated. We are men. We are nudists. We have safe spaces to share our nudism or to simply be men and shower together.

i used to go to planet fitness. never saw a woman in the men's locker room and not a lot of men got naked. now i got to LifeTime and NO one but me gets naked in the locker room. but some shower. a lot of the younger guys come in their workout clothes and never even enter the locker room.

such a big change from when i started going to a gym or even just a few years ago

It would not alter my actions at all. Its a mens room for changing, showering, etc. No different than if a woman looks at my camera here. Nudity is natural, if you dont want to see a man naked, stay out of the locker room

If a woman enters the men's locker room, do nothing different. Ensure that you are neither rushing to cover up or being unnaturally gratuitous about your nudity. Don't change your routine at all! Don't pay her any particular attention. Probably don't greet her or acknowledge that she's a woman in the men's locker room. Just continue your hygiene and dressing routine then leave.

Do what any Male would do,...., invite her/him,..., they/them to a gang shower jerk-circle. Will at least teach them they are not Males. Just saying if these times allow stupid people to be, ..., well STUPID, WHY not just make them feel included till they figure it out,..., they do not belong. and if they stay- well they stay. As for Males in Females- women are very different in their needs for FEMALE PRIVACY, call the cops if a guy's in the gals locker room. But if a guy is so shy that a naked female is in the men's locker-room makes him go into a coma, well time to be bold young man! HOOOOT! IF this is allowed to continue- watch the attendance at the nudie parks start to drop, these clowns do more than just look odd- they ACT OUT as well. Nothing worse than seeing a 50+ year old guy that thinks he knows how women acts- It is tragic! SO,..., hmmm a 56yo Man thinking he's a gal naked with a good 40 extra pounds going through the motions poolside. Yah that's a wrap! LOL!!!! All this liberalism in the Naked Society the past 15-20 years JUST MIGHT CATCH UP TO IT. My property welcomes real folks- Heirloom Orientations, Straight- Queer- Bi and all ,..., "JUST BEHAVE like there's children in the pool and my hounds are standing life GAURD!!"! LOL! Thank you.

It all fell apart when the Jr Highs and high Schools stopped PE 3 times a week. It is not really any better in the Army, at least at Ft Jackson. These young men wear underwear to get WASHED IN even! I just do my thing and go home- not there to stare and honestly I STARE more now that I am witnessing the idiocy of all this emotionally ill modesty crap in the young Males today. No wonder there's no breeding going on!
