Yverdon-les-Bains, a town in the Swiss Jura region, situated at the lake Neuenburgersee, historically originated from a settlement of the neolithic age about 4000 years BCE. Both famous pedagogues Pestalozzi and Froebel lived there for some time.

Fuseta, Portugal, with some great de facto clothing optional beaches on the isle of Armona / Fueseta. The interesting. criminal novel series "Lost in Fuseta" by Gil Ribeiro (pseudonym of german author Holger Carsten Schmidt) also plays here and in the surrounding area. Two of the books are also adopted for tv.
