Why so few Black Female nudists?

I have noticed that there are not too many on here is it they are more private than the rest of us or is it really a lack of Black female nudists world wide? I find all women beautiful it is personality that makes a person beautiful. I don't see that many at beaches here in the states. I have not been to any of the nudist communities, resorts or camp grounds.

I had a girlfriend that was black and a nudist. She was very casual about being naked too. She would sometimes wander beyond the traditional boundary of the nudist areas without a concern about who saw her. She wasn't flaunting it or trying to be a exhibitionist, she was just very comfortable being naked.

Well I think women are groomed to be more conservative than males. For example, a heavy man with male tits can walk around free in public shirtless but a woman in a non-nudist environment who is shirtless, it can be frowned. Another example, a male can be a "playa" and it's just labeled as "he's being a man" but a female being promiscuous, they are a "hoe". That's one thing I love about the nudist/naturalist lifestyle, everyone are embracing to every person regardless of their body style. I think it's important to reach out and recruit females and males, especially those of minority, to consider the nudist lifestyle.

RE: Why so few Black Female nudists?

I'm biracial, my ex is black. At first she felt (strongly) that nudism was a "white folk's thing", as nudist magazines present a predominantly Caucasian population. And nudity is usually frowned upon and/or sexualized in the African-American community.

Nonetheless I eventually managed to convince her to accompany me to a nudist resort. She enjoyed it and we visited other resorts. She was always the only black female at the resort. At first she stayed covered because she didn't want to be "the ONE naked black woman" there. But then she met and befriended other nudists, who didn't treat her differently and didn't bring any attention to our racial differences. And so she grew comfortable being naked around them, and even started embracing her "uniqueness", becoming an active part of the nudist community. She decided she wasn't going to be shy about being naked, socialize with people; because she came to see her "role" in the nudist community as important. If she was going to be the sole representative of black women at the nudist resort, she was going to be naked, friendly and approachable.

But my ex is a rare case. I haven't been to those resorts in a while (GA and SC); and I do hope there are now more black women there.

RE: Why so few Black Female nudists?

There is a stigma for black people in general. Even though our ancestors were (some tribes still are) nude in their daily lives, we have been taught that we were uncivilized.

With all the talk of black men being Mandingos and black women bein Insatiable, it is know wonder why we have a propensity to stay covered when in the presence of others.

The nudist community Id perdomately male. Even at the clubs. Our club tries to keep a 60:40 ratio of men to women so most men cant join on their own. I think women have more to overcome with body image as well as suxuality than men do and how women are treated on this site I understand why they tend to stay away.

Our loss.....

Lately African-American female non-sexual nudity has been more frequent in media.

Halle Berry talks a lot about being naked on vacation on Instagram.
Rihanna has been frequently nude on social media.
Thandie Newton has received a lot of applause for being "fearlessly naked" on Westworld.
Nathalie Emmanuel has been nude in GOT.

As black female nudity becomes mainstream, we can hope this changes the perception black women have when it comes to nudity; no matter how slowly.

Black female nudists constitute a small but growing part of the non-traditional naturist community in Canada. We have noticed many more African Canadian women at nude beaches, clothing optional festivals and adult parties. In traditional nudist clubs with rigid rules, there are indeed almost no black female nudists but also few youth, naturists from diverse backgrounds and/or those open about their sexual orientation.

All good examples but also not the Average women. My wife doesnt like being nude around a lot of young, tight, bodied people so she always take her suit when we go to the hot springs. She has not put it on yet because most of the people there are not what we see in movies and print. I think that women will be more confident in being nude if the media starts using average sized people in nude scenes with rolls, saggiging breast and all perceived flaws.

I think Dana used a body double. Still, I did like that it was normal body type but would have liked a full body like the other examples. Opera also did a topless scene in Queen.
