Closed???

Yes the DNR closed it a couple years ago. There used to be a group called "Friends of Mazo" that lobbied to keep it open. You might google them and see if there are any efforts to reopen it. Other than that there are no officially sanctioned nude beaches in Minnesota or Wisconsin that I am aware of. Pretty sad!!
