RE: CartoonsSuperfriends, was my favorite growing up. I had to wakeup at 6am to watch it. And this was after staying up until mid night the night before so I could watch the country music TV shows.

RE: Cartoonsin the 80's wtbs had a weekday morning block of cartons in the morning, they had the old popeye, heckle and jeckle, snuffy smith and other older cartons as well as the little rascals and 3 stooges.

I had to look that up. Turns out I knew them as Bout'chou et Cassecou.
As for H.R. Puffinstuff, another in the same genre was Lidsville, where everyone was a hat except for a Genie and two other humans, one young good guy and the other a nasty wizard named Horatio (although we did see his twin brother Bruce once).
