RE:A question for the nudists who have been around

I must disagree with you. I am a lifetime nudist and have lived and traveled all over the world and met and visited nudists from all walks of life for 50+ years. I have 2 college degrees. A highly successful 20 year career in a high-profile occupation. And many other things!! I almost forgot, I am a very senior citizen and I am also a gay man. I learned while still very young to keep social nudity separate from sexual nudity and not to impose my religion, politics, sexual preferences or nudist values on those that were not interested.

RE:A question for the nudists who have been around

A very interesting thread here. As I read through all the posts, I felt the need to offer a different perspective.
I am fairly new to the nudist lifestyle, so maybe it's why I see it in a different light.
I get tired of hearing "PERVS", so I'll reflect on those who many out there refer to them as. Why are they here is the first question? The internet is full of porn and nudity for those looking for a sexual thrill!
As a student of Christianity I have researched the Greek meaning of "pornos or pornia". It essentially refers to "sexuality exploited for monetary reasons". Preying on the natural sexual drive for profit. Certainly a perversion of what God intended. So when does "looking at nudity" fall into that category.
Society has created the association of nudity with sexuality but those of us who have been enlightened know and understand the truth.
But at what stage are the so called "perves" in there understanding of the nudist lifestyle.
If they want to see images of others who are getting paid to perform sexual acts or provocative poses, primarily intended to arouse sexual desires, there are many better suited sites to peak their sexual interests for free. So why do they come here, pay money or even get certified.
Perhaps the have a glimmer of interest in our lifestyle, a desire but not the courage. Seeing nudists enjoying the lifestyle without reservation. Is it because they are intrigued by our body confidence?
So what are the percentages between the curious, the looky-loos, the envious and the sexual deviants?
Maybe we shouldn't be too quick to lump them all into the same "perv" basket. There may be many who want to experience our freedom but they have walls in there life that prevent it or deep rooted convictions from their upbringing, or even emotional lifestyle battles to contend with and feel they can only live their secret desires vicariously through us. I'm not condoning any of the above, just being analytical, and I'm not in their shoes to know their situation. I don't concern myself with any of those in the first three categories.
Which is the greater sin, sexual deviancy or passing judgement.
I imagine this may spark much controversy! Perhaps even some reflection!
So let me end with a quote:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself...."

RE:A question for the nudists who have been around

Lee I agree that we dont know the reasons for some of the people that we label as pervs being on a site devoted to people that practice social nudism and that we should not be so quick to judge. However there should be consiquinces for those who blatantly break the rules set forth by the site owners. If someone makes a luxe comment on a photo or in a forum and is flagged, they should be removed or at least restricted and bared from creating a new profile from the same IP.

I dont mind much the trollers looking at my photos even if they dont have pictures on their profile. I liken it to the clothing optional places I have been to. I may be nude but the others may have on suits and we all get along. People with private profiles are more like people on the other side of the fence, looking through the holes and seeing all the naked people without being seen. I routinely block them but not until after they have been through my pictures. There should be more options for blocking people from viewing photos other than just Friends or Certified Friends. We should be able to block private profiles and even profiles with say a profiles that is under %50 filled out. It is there choice to remain private but I should also have more choices in blocking.

I agree with you Mc,
People who make inappropriate comments should be blocked! They have exposed themselves as to who they really are and are here for the wrong reasons!
Like you, I don't care who peeks through the fence. Just going to live my life my way.
You raise some good points about the restrictions that should be available. I agree with them as well!
Lets just not be too quick to judge.
Some may criticize me for not having any naked pics of myself in my media, for example. But the story is, my wife didn't feel comfortable with me doing so at this time, so I committed to her that I wouldn't. If not , I would probably have several.
I say this, only to prove a point that sometimes there are circumstances......
Thanks for your feedback. I expected to get slammed for my post!

I think that to be a nudist is an experience very real, not virtual as it is TrueNudist. I think there are many members of truenudist that are here just for curiosity but they arent genuine nudist
