RE:Camping this summerJust got out my Coconino National Forest Map .
Found the spot on South Half map. Section F-8. Why the map names the road 229 ?
If you are going north, from Clints Well. You pass the power lines you are to far north.
If you are coming in from Flag. When you pass the the power lines, it's close.
Remember between mile markers 304 & 305. Look for FR 692 (on topo map 6902).
Do not forget your smiles ! Naked Hugs from Jim

RE:Camping this summerWell you guys missed a good camping trip. 80 degrees during the day. At night 50 to 60. Yes we had rain, you know 6 inches of rain. The distance between rain drops. lol
Peregrine Falcon, Coyote, Robin, Squirrels and Chipmunks. A small rock canyon, a meadow, old loggers camp, some small buttes.
Lots of time to relax in a very pretty spot.
