August Bank Holiday weekend 2019

Over the last few weeks I've been getting out to explore the local moors using the Moorsbus but it only goes where its most popular, now I've managed to get a nude walk for small periods each time but would love to explore some of the less populated ridges, that's either a very long walk or other transport to get there. would love some company too, I've been reading a book on old roads of the North York Moors, love to find some of them - the "Magna Via", the "Thurklasti"
anyone like to help? - being old & no longer used they are often out in the wilds....... there may be old waymarker stones or crosses to find too or traces of Monks trods & the purple heather is gorgeous at present

Had a great walk yesterday searching for the Magna via, an old road that crosses part of the North York Moors above Helmsley, was able to walk nude most of the day, in the glorious sunshine, photo story on flickr in my " searching for the Magna via" album https://www.flickr.com/gp/86478488@N06/6Y5460
