Lone Star Resort has Closed

It is with great sadness that I announce that Lone Star Resort has closed and it appears that the closing will be permanent. Talked yesterday with Evelyn, who has managed the resort and done all of the upkeep the last few years, and she informed me that it has closed and the property is up for sale. Further, that the property is not being marketed as a business but as raw land.

This is a tremendous loss for those of us who just wanted a quiet place to go take off our clothes and enjoy the sun and pool with, perhaps, a few others who were similarly inclined. Unfortunately, what I have said above is all that I know and all that I am likely to know going forward.
