It's good to find a Christian sharing group among nudists

I will give the group a try. I already participate in another prayer chain. I need more practice in praying for others and myself.

Have you ever heard of Walk To Emmaus? Twice a month I meet with a small group of Walk To Emmaus men where we discuss our discipleship and share our prayers and concerns. In summary, Walk To Emmaus is a spiritual renewal movement. To join Walk To Emmaus, you would go on a 3 day weekend where we hyperfocus on Jesus. Walk To Emmaus changed my life.

Years ago, in Walk To Emmaus, I got in the dog house for visiting Sunny Rest, a nudist resort in Pennsylvania. I was then on a team for leading a 3 day weekend. One of the spiritual directors said to me, "We have our moral standards and we are concerned about your being in the nudist life style." I told him, "There is a Christian nudist organization." The spiritual director then said, "There also are Christian groups for homosexuals." I resented the analogy between nudists and homosexuals. The spiritual director demanded that I say that I am separating myself from nudism. He is of the belief that nudity = sex, hence he thinks it is a moral issue.

Since then, I dare not share my nudist philosophy among other Christians. This includes my local church and Walk To Emmaus. Has any other member of this TN group experienced this prejudice among Christians against nudism?
