RE:FYI: Tonto National Forest has changed their policyThanks to Alll on heads up. I am surprised, I did not think they would hassle in National Forrest. Such a bummer. Was always great to stop by even if short period of time.

RE:FYI: Tonto National Forest has changed their policySo unfortunate, wonder if theres any way to get AANR or similar organization involved to fight to make it a recognized area. Like the Magic Circle or Hippie Hallow is Austin.
As time goes on there are fewer and fewer spots like this.

RE:FYI: Tonto National Forest has changed their policyApril 2023--About 4 years ago my roomy was walking nude down a BLM forest road up on the Rim. He had missed the road to our camp. A Deputy Sherrif drove up on patrol. Offered roomy a ride, never said a word about him being nude. When they arrived, both got out of the truck and the Deputy even chatted for a few minutes before he left. Never said a word about nudity! Hope that does not change.

RE:FYI: Tonto National Forest has changed their policyI know this was a while back, however, what was the outcome of this? Did you all return to the parking area nude? Was there "other shenanigans" going on in the parking area? What was the outcome of the tickets? Court, fines, ???

RE:FYI: Tonto National Forest has changed their policyFrom what I have been told, this was in the parking lot and it was the result of people reporting shenanigans that were happening. I have gone a few times this year over the past couple of months and I dont believe Rangers would hike all the way back to the Falls to issue citations. With that said, there appears to be a lot more families hiking so please be respectful of that.
