I love bushwalking and hiking barefoot here, and no its not as dangerous as the tv might have you believe.
Feels so good to have the ground and rocks beneath ones bare soles.

I love bushwalking, but bare feet is not recommended in Victoria due to snakes etc. Unless one had hardy feet, sticks, branches, stones and rocks etc are going to be a challenge.
