Once upon a time and place

The time: A midweek evening not long after sundown during a recent super blue moon.

The place: A lake proximal to the Valley of the Sun.

The setting: The calm water is almost bath-water warm, in keeping with the 90-something air temperature. The length of the lakeshore is almost entirely deserted, no more than half a dozen mostly quiet groups; a far cry from the hordes that will invade on the weekend. Only two boats, as still as the water they float upon and visible only due to their dim marker lights, break the illusion of a completely undisturbed lake.

The nude adventure: Paddle boarding down one shoreline and back on the other in the pale moonlight, initially intending a 2 hour long adventure. Under the spell of the incredible (and incredibly unique) opportunity, deciding to extend the time by maybe another hour. Taking refuge in an inlet in the face of sudden stiff winds, finally resuming and ending the adventure after the gusts die down in due course. In all, 4 hours of fresh air and exercise at a time and place never to be replicated, never to be forgotten.

Nice,
I can see it happening. Those little breezes do come up. But being out on the water for a full moon is amazing

Sounds amazing. I love nude paddle boarding in the warm Arizona sun on some of our beautiful lakes that are more private.
