Body hair

Ok, my topic about ladies' capilar hair had about as much success as I expected - that is, close to zero. John, who is still in love with his wife after half a century of marriage (I wish more men were like him but obviously this is not gonna happen any time soon) spoke about her hair length, Richie basically said that any hair is ok as long as he can have sex with the owner and this is basically it. Not that I didn't expect it, no sex, no teasing, hardly any response.

So let's try the usual topic about body hair. And before you jump to "no body hair" - I am more interested in the why of your preferences rather than simply the preferences themselves.

First, why did we lose our body hair? Ok, we didn't actually lose it, it seems that we have about as many hairs as other apes, but it's so small and thin that it doesn't really count. I think that there are two main hypothesis and neither satisfies me.

The first one is that we lost it because we started to wear clothes so number one, we didn't need it any longer, number two clothes' friction helped to destroy it. But then, uncontacted tribes who have always been naked should at least have more body hair than us, shouldn't they. But they don't.

The second is that, as endurance hunters who could track faster animals to exhaustion in the savanna, we needed an efficient cooling system and losing body hair and multiplying our sweat glands gave us this. But clearly women have never been exhaustion hunters - at least not since they started to grow boobs. Can you figure a woman running after an antelope for hours while cupping her breasts in her hands? So surely women should have more body hair than men, as they had more static lives and more need for keeping warm themselves and the babies. Do they?

Ok, there is a third hypothesis, that we might have had in our past an aquatic phase, but let's be serious. We can't even swim naturally like dogs of horses, and they didn't lose their body hair. So I can only imagine that for some obscure reasons sometime in our promiscuous phase, we ladies decided that less body hair is not a sign of an illness or old age and opened our legs more for gentlemen with less body hair. Hardly satisfactory.

What about our body hair patches? Obviously, head hair is to protect us from excessive exposure to the sun and on pur pubis and under arms is to transmit pheromones. But as we have become adverse to any body smells unless they are fabricated by Hermes, we don't need that either.

Ok, so now back to our preferences. I'll tell you mine. I like smooth ladies but I don't mind if they only trim their pubis - or even leave it natural if, like me, they don't have much down there. Everything else should be smooth. No underarm hair, no shin hair... Oh, and they should also shave further down - the lips. I would never let a guy give me oral pleasure unless I am completely smooth there.

I have very little and blondish body hair, I think I could get away with doing nothing, but I do shave my underarms (not much there but still) and my shins and calves (every month or so, again, more to be sure). I've never shaved my thighs. Yes, there are some small blond hairs there but if you notice them it means that you are in the process of giving me pleasure - and I couldn't care less.

As for my pubis, I don't need to do anything if I'm wearing a normal bathing suit, but I've always trimmed a bit. Then for years I wore a landing strip. I've only started to go smooth for about 5 years and a couple of times I let it grow a bit and trimmed it very short with D's trimmer. I actually think that a nice Bermuda triangle is cute and signals nakedness from far, but it works mainly for ladies with dark hair down there. I still felt that my modest blondish hair attracted a bit too much attention so now it's all gone, as you have often seen.

As you know, I like more to look at women than at men on a nude beach, although my erotic dreams are mostly about men. But I define myself as more than just bi-curious and while I find a bit of pubis hair cute on a girl I would prefer everything to be clean further down to enjoy touching it.

What about my preferences in men? I think young guys can get away with doing nothing. A bit of hair under arms, a bit around their cock and possibly a bit on their chest is ok for me. As the rest is smooth I find it quite nice and elegant. I will never say no to a guy because of that. Ok, Asian guys usually have very little body hair but as it is straight it looks longer so I would advise them to trim a bit, especially if they are small and you hardly see their treasures.

The problem is that you guys grow a lot more hair as you grow older and too much is too much. So yes, by all means, do trim. Especially your scrotum, you do grow more there and it turns grey faster. You don't want me to stop from what I'm doing nice to you every three seconds to spit out some hair, do you. Excessive pilosity on your back and butt is also not very attractive . Male gorillas and chips are nice animals, but not, you know, in the way you want to be. In a sexual way.

I don't however like guys who shave or wax entirely. They look ill. Like cancer patients. Sorry guys, I know that you must be very proud of you do it, but that's not for me. For other guys yes, most likely you are attractive, but I do like a bit of body hair on my men. D doesn't have much body hair, he only trims, very severely on his family jewels and a bit on his legs, and I find it cute and sexy.

We have a friend who is an avid cyclist so he shaves his legs, supposedly for faster biking. He also has a very expensive and light bike, 7 or 8 kg. My friends, get rid of a kg of your beer belly before you shave your legs or pay 10k to shed one kilo of bike. He looks so unnatural with his shaved legs.

Now I'm sure that I have angered some guys so please don't shoot, it's only me, other ladies and definitely all guys love your look, ok? And here's the thing. Your body hair eventually counts very little if anything in my decision of whether or not to have sex with you, Ok? It's just body hair, for crying out loud.

I do believe that our preference for as little body hair as possible, especially on women, comes from today's reverence for youth. We want women to look like teenagers, or even prepubescent girls. This is why I kept my landing strip for so long. It's nice, it's clean, I'm not hiding anything but I'm not pretending to be a little girl to satisfy your pedophiliac tendencies either. And honestly, if your desire to have sex with me depends on a tiny landing strip I don't want you in my bed to begin with.

And you? How do you like guys and girls and why?

RE:Body hair

I don't think i said that Flora, you asked a question about whether we pulled the hair of our ladies during sex... if you didn't want sex in the answer don't ask the question.
I only didn't mind the length of hair, everything else i expressed a view.
As to this topic.
I personally prefer a trimmed or shaved look (as of now and for a few years) on ladies, i remember the days in 1970s when we boys found a 'top shelf' magazine and the ladies there were very hairy down below, the more there the better it seems now to me thinking back. That look today isn't a favourite look for me.
Genetics clearly play a part. Some men are very hairy even to having very hairy hands and knuckles, I'm not and never have been. Zero underarm hair even today and no i dont shave there, zero chest hair. The lack of body hair was a school problem for me as i was teased horribly by the other boys as no hair showing = still a baby! I so wanted to have underarm hair and pubic hair.
But why I'm not hairy and the next man is, is strange. Also by comparison, there are very few ladies who are very hairy on the body from what I've seen, clearly some outliers but few have hairy knuckles... whereas in the animal kingdom the female of the species is never noticible less hairy. That's a conundrum just for the human species.

RE:Body hair

The topic of 'hair' here on TN is quite the spread ... I always wonder how it gets so much play? As Flora has noted in the past during comments about the multitude of topics on hair & 'to shave or not to shave' from the masses, it's a popular subject. It does make me wonder but on to the actual question posed. Myself, I like to see hair as it's the more natural form; my wife has a little everywhere and its light auburn color makes it not readily visible. It looks great on her, doesn't get 'in the way' and is fun to play with. My own hair is middle of the road ... probably the result of my hairy dad traits being diluted by my very (visible anyway, lol) lightly haired mom. It works well and the wife likes it ... that's all that is needed. To summarize it ... don't look too much like an ape and don't look like those odd hairless cats. Moderation is always good.

RE:Body hair

I agree with your assessment. To me, the female form looks perfect with little or no hair in the private areas. The absence of decorative ink is also a much-desired preference of mine. A small pubic tuft or two on a lady can be quite becoming. In my opinion, shin hair or armpit hair is not attractive on ladies.
I have never been hairy. The occasional rogue hair that appears on my chest is usually plucked out accordingly. I do like the clean look for a man's crotch. I kept mine clean for several years, but discovered each time I shaved there, it only grew back faster. And if you don't shave every day or every other day, the intermediate growth can be pretty irritating for several days. So I do an occasional trimming with an electric trimmer now.
I prefer to see a man with little or no hair to one with an overabundance on the body and none up top, sorry guys!
And for the bike riders who shave to go faster, well, I agree with you, that definitely fits into another category, and looks weird. I dare say a few hairs on your legs and arms make a noticeable difference in speed.
So, no hair on the vagina and for the guys, no scrotum hair and very little otherwise!

RE:Body hair

Very well said Ms. Flora. First of all, I have been a big fan of yours although I think, you have a special group that is different from the public postings that you do here. How can I be a part of the group?

I enjoyed reading your postings. I read your posting yesterday about your"tailor". I think that was a very erotic and classy decent story that you wrote. As for the this topic, again, you have made a lot of valid points based on what you like and what you don't like which is understandable as everyone has their own preferences and we are all entitled to our own likes and dislikes.

You also made a valid point with asian men. As an asian man myself, I tried to go smooth 20 years ago and I will never do that again. First of all, I don't like the smooth look on me because I looked like a boy with my natural young look and very slim body, thank you for having a good asian genes. But don't get me wrong, I loved the smooth look to a lot of older men. It just didn't suit me at all. Like you said, maybe a smooth look on me will only feed the desire of some people out there that has a pedophiliac desires because I look like a teenager when I am smooth. Secondly, as the hair starts to grow, it hurts a lot especially when the hair starts poking the head of my penis. It's like a needle poking it so no more pain for me hahaha. As for my pubic area, I tend to be very hairy but for the last 20 years or so, I have learned to trim it to not look like that I am growing a jungle down there. I also and regularly shaved my scrotum as I like them smooth. My chest is naturally smooth although my nipples for whatever reason is full of hair. A lot of times, I shaved my nipples as well but there are also times that I leave the hair there just like now days. I am somewhat hairy in my arm, legs and armpits. I understand why some Caucasian me shaved their armpits because they tend to spew that man scent when they sweat but luckily with my asian genes, even if I sweat so much in the summer, I never have any smell at all in my armpits.

I agree with you when you said that men should shaved their balls and trim their pubes. Same thing with women as well. As we age, if you leave your pubic hair alone that looks like that you are growing your garden down there (LOL), it is not very appealing at all and it looks very unhygienic. Again, this is just my opinion. My wife never shave her pubes at all in the beginning when I met here 22 years ago but the last 15 years or so, she started trimming her pubes and it looks more nicer now. At least, I never had to take time looking for the opening on her vagina every time hahaha. I admire the landing strip with women and also in men. I think it looks very sexy.

As for the back door...it should be a MUST that everyone need to shave or wax their back door and keep it smooth. For the men and women out there that never cared about their back door, you should try shaving it or waxing it (I regularly waxed myself with my backdoor (ass)). It is more for hygiene purposes because imagining yourself wiping with a tissue paper after doing number 2...the hair is just on the way and shit always get stuck there. Luckily, me being asian, I don't have that problem because we grew up using soap and water to washed ourselves every time we go to the toilet. And nowadays, with the help of technology, the bidet, I have installed bidet in both of my toilets to keep myself clean all the time. This maybe too much information for everyone but personal hygiene is very important to me.

I do hope that I will not get a lot of hate after this posting that I am replying to Ms. Flora. Like here, I just want to provide some input as well. We are getting older but we are not dead yet so take charge of your own health and body. Like what God said, we have to treat our body like it is Gods temple or something like that hahaha. Can you tell that I am not that religious at all as I am not even sure if what I said is right. hahaha.

Have a great day everyone.

RE:Body hair

Good morning

Hair oh its an old topic. I have always loved long head hair. The longer the better ! But what a painful thing for the person. Hair weight is impressive when it gets long and knots are common, maintaining it is very hard to do. So anyone who does have long head hair thank you for your hard work.

But for body hair things are a different story. You have seen those men on the beach with so much body hair that they look like a bear. But you never see a female bear. Lol. I have always thought that the hunter gatherers were protected from nature with hair. Like for men with big thick beards around their necks. Most meat eaters will go for the throat of their prey. Protection !

But then theres the female body. Really not that much hair, except for the tops of their heads and they grow it so easily. Hmmm. But then, should I say they are designed to stay at home. Hmmm but saying this, what about the men with very little body hair ? Were they designed to stay at home to protect their families. Younger men with less body hair, older men seem to grow more hair as they age. But then lose more head hair ? Hmm

Okay I know this thread is about body hair and what we all prefer. Those 70s magazines were so beautiful to see. But back then what was between the legs of a girl was a mystery that needed to be solved. You wanted to get a closer look, so when the BIC razor showed up and made it easy to lose the pubic hair. Wow so thats what its looks like ! Theres nothing there, but it feels so good to taste and be inside. Hmmm.

As for men, look it is just hair that gets in the way of oral sex. Same thing with women, hair in the teeth or up your nose is a pain. But trimming is not a bad idea. Men have mustaches and beards that they trim why not the rest of the body. Like back hair on not that hairy of a guy. Clean it up ! Pubic hair is just what you want. Trim shorter or shave into a landing strip or even remove totally. It all looks good to someone. For women it is the same thing. Like leg hairs on European decent women its really not that much and it is mostly blonde anyway. Asian women might have the dark hair but really there is not much.

As for pubic hair and arm pit hairs, really its not that big of a deal on a woman. Less hair is something of a preference for each person. Try different styles ! Love the idea of when a female is younger, take it all off because theres not much there anyway. But then those few sections of hair are cute too see also. When we get older and the hair color changes. So ! We are older and wiser now show it off. But we want to stay younger and dont want to get old. Hmm take it off then. But then when our bodies change and we start getting heavier and lose our sex drives. Should we care ? And when is to old to care ?

RE:Body hair

Ha, ha, I knew that a topic about body hair would do the trick! Very ample, but also quite interesting answers, although not much in terms of explanation of preferences.

Why are women less hairy? It would be useful for babies to cling to our chest hair when suckling. Why are men more hairy if less hair makes you more efficient in hunting? And don't tell me "because of testosterone", this is a mere proxy, not ultimate explanation. Is male body hair a sort of success signaling, like peacock tails, telling us "look how successful I am, despite the handicap of my tail/hair, I must have excellent genes otherwise, let's fuck"? Of course, ultimately everything we are is about natural selection, the likelihood to spread your genes, so about sex. Oh wait, but we should not speak about sex in a nudist context.

But where is the scandal? Where are the manifestations of environmentalists? Why are the Greens not up in arms against our irresponsible behaviour, which is condemning a species to extinction? I am speaking of course about pubic lice, crab lice, helpless innocent little creatures who can't survive on shaved or severely trimmed body hair.

New2b, thanks for the compliment. No, I don't have a secret group. As for nudity, I only upload tons of pics (not all mine), with the help of Jeanne, on the similar TS group. I don't actually have an account there, because if I created one I'd likely start posting very provocative, erotic blurb, and you'll think that I am a bad girl. Oh wait, you already think that. OK, I also have my site as a modest photographer, but that is only open to my models or would-be models and include just a handful of pics of me as a model.
