You have a problem when....
Lived in our home for twenty plus years. Created a private oasis in our backyard with good hedging plants and other type. Neighbours have come and gone.
Last owners still own the house behind us which has a driveway along our boundary, passing our pooll and also bedroom and bathroom only some 2mtrs away. They helped the oasis along by growing hedges too. They knew we swim nude.
But last weekend their tenants decided to hack away at the hedges....literally with a machete. Of course he took off very strategic branches to see in. So okay you want to see us swim nude....but why hack the hedges outside our bedroom and bathroom?
Mine at least had a reason:
Previous house only had a low chain link rear fence, so I planted a row of Lilly pillies to hedge. 15 years later I come home from holidays and can suddenly see through to their back yard again. New neighbours had a massive dog and they had cut back branches to about 1.8m to install a wire dog fence above the low chain wire. Given the trees were then about 3 metres high the lower branches never grew back much before I left a couple of years later. Fortunately those neighbours were rarely in their back yard.
