Nude beaches in the Algarve

There are lots of beaches on the south coast of Portugal, with it's almost tropical climate and endless sunshine. It is washed by the Atlantic so waves can be high. As you go towards the south-west corner of Portugal the countryside and the beaches are quieter. There the coast has a lot of cliffs, punctuated by coves and bays with lovely fine sand. I know two. Praia (beach) do Zavial is long, with a bar/restaurant at one end and the nudist area at the other end. There was no problem of overcrouding even in August. It is a surfer's beach and it can be fun going in for a deep paddle to be carried ashore by the waves. If it is windy the next beach (Praia do Furnas) is in a cove sheltered by high cliffs. The sand is just as good and the waves smaller. Nudists use any part of that beach, mixing with the textiles. The cliffs in the area give a great chance for exploring and the country is so quiet that a naked hike can be risked.
