Travelites' Founder's Day report & upcoming

Members and friends arrived from Georgia and the SC Low Country joining with those of the Midlands of SC to enjoy the sun and camaraderie as well snacks (Edible Arrangement plus the garlic/spinach dip) before heading out to Casa Linda, a local truly authentic Mexican Restaurant, not just TexMex, to celebrate Founder's Day. The food was excellent as was the service and prices. Most everyone returned to enjoy the Carvel ice cream cake.

Before leaving on a 2-hour journey home for some, the hot tub was again enjoyed. We were enjoying ourselves so much at the restaurant and back for dessert, and the hot tub, that this was the first time ever that a birthday celebration was not documented with a photo.

Travelites' next event will be on Oct. 29th, the annual Halloween party with costume contest and pumpkin carving at Sunair in Graniteville at 4:30. If you'd like to help
decorate, please let me know as we have to arrive by 4. The food for the evening will be heavy hors d'ouvres.
