Loch Lomond

Anyone ever been to one of the open days on the Scottish Outdoor Club's island?yes i have over a year ago with two friends. The best way to get to the boatyard or harbour is by car. The ferry to the island doesn't take too long. I remember the weather being mild and sunny, so it was warm enough to strip. I took part in a game of miniten for a while, chatted to members of the club and met a couple from aberdeen who were also there for the first time. it didn't take long to go on a tour of the place and see the chalets. I remember my friend and i were the last out of the sauna and the last to get dressed again. The people there were all friendly and chatty. It was a good day out. I'm not sure what i'd do if i were stay for a weekend.

I remember the sauna being in a separate building close to the club house and there's a shower in the same building as well. The miniten court is front of the club house.
