A longtime favorite of mine is Saranac IPA from the FX Matt Brewing Co. in Utica, NY. Great taste, no bitter aftertaste. Stone Brewing Co also makes a great IPA. Here in New Jersey, the Harvest Moon brew pub in New Brunswick makes a good IPA.
Alwaysnaked,That's true of some of Saranac's brews, but not all. Their Irish style stout, porter, and Bavarian black lagers are good - ample flavor (for me at least). On the positive side - no bitter after-taste. Their nut brown ale is a long time favorite, but can't seem to find it here any more. Plenty of good IPA's from the many craft brewers these days.
