Clothing Optional Communities?

So far the closest c/o community to the Northern Virginia area I can find is Somerset in West Virginia, near Avalon Resort. For me, at least, that's a bit to far for the daily commute. Wonder why there aren't any communities closer to NoVA/DC?

Are you looking for an entire neighborhood/town where nudity is common?

Not really looking to move, just more wondering why clothing optional communities aren't more common/prevalent in this area. But yes, the idea would be a neighborhood where one wouldn't live in fear of going out to get the paper, or taking out the trash, or washing the car, or gardening, or going for a walk or a run in the nude.

Somerset is the only one I've even heard of in the States outside of Florida

Seems like that might be an opportunity for an enterprising venture capitalist, no?

There is Pine Tree Resort in Crownsville, MD. It is near Annapolis, Maryland. Look up Pinetreeclub.org.
