Clothing Optional Days at Abbey House Gardens
Were there any other True Nudists at the Abbey House Gardens clothing optional day on Sunday.
I was able to get to there and had a very pleasant time meeting several old friends and some new ones as well as enjoying the gardens.
In spite of the pessimistic weather forecast there was a reasonable attendance and although it started to drizzle as soon as I dis-robed the day was a decent success with a reasonable naked attendance although there were almost as many textiles from time to time.
In spite of the couple of sessions of drizzle and overcast sky it was plenty warm enough for me to be naked all the time.
At last in mid-afternoon the sun started to break through giving us a pleasantly warm couple of hours at the end of the day. This was the cue for some of the textiles to reveal themselves as naturists, reducing the clothed quotient to much less than half.
One advantage of the poor weather forecast was that it was not too crowded for me to take a decent number of pictures and video footage which I will post after I have edited when I get home.I had gone to Abbey House Gardens en-route to the boat so I was able to take in the naked swim at Tewkesbury Cascades pool before arriving at the boat and stripping off to cook a naked supper.
I wasn't there then, but went to the one of the 5th July - my first time to anything like that, and thoroughly enjoyed the day there, in spite of having to leave early around 3pm because it started to rain.Going again this Sunday on the 24th - fingers crossed weather will be kinder to us.
The clothing optional days for this year have been announced as
Sunday 22nd May 2016
Friday 17th June 2016
Sunday 17th July 2016
Friday 5th August 2016
Sunday 4th September 2016
I don't know yet which ones I'm going to be able to get to.
Thanks for posting the dates, that will remind us to check what plans we have to be in the area this summer so we can hopefully include a few hours naked at Abbey House. Its a real pain making that journey from here so we're only likely to go if we're headed that way anyway. I'd love to go again, the last time was 3 years ago I think, it was great fun and we met a few other nudists we know from other parts of the country, its good to catch up like that with old friends by chance and share a few hours nude together.

opps 4th not 24th
I had a look at their web site which to be honest isn't that great. The house and grounds on the other hand look lovely.
Unfortunately, I'm working that day, and also it's over 4 hours away, otherwise it could have possibly been my first social nude experience.
