There are some (a minority) naturists who get a kick out being naked in company who may or may not be nude. Most of us simply find it more comfortable to without clothes when it feels right. It will only feel right if those around you are also relaxed about your nudity. I've been to many CO beaches in Europe and have no issues with those around me being either nude or costumed. I do however notice couples where only one partner is nude. The idea is not show off your partner's body but for your partner to be relaxed nude or clothed irrespective of whether you are nude or clothed.
