A Nudist's Diary

This is a group where members enjoy to write and read experiences in nudity.

I have done it! Walked naked from my car, parked at Ocknell Pond in the New Forest, UK, for about 3 miles with only a pair of flesh coloured knickers in my rucksack. Walked in a big circle arriving back at the car still nude

RE:Walking naked

I just left our cabin in North Carolina after a month of being there. For the first 3 weeks I took my dogs hiking on the trail above the cabin. Would go up about a 1/4 of a mile where it ran into an old logging road and would strip and leave my shirt there just carrying my shorts. From there I would go up a bout a mile and then back. The day before I was to leave my neighbor showed me some pictures he had gotten off his trail cam that he installed on the trail. It's motion sensored. I thought oh my I've been busted. Luckily he had installed it before the area I would strip down. WHew! He did have pictures of my dogs as well as a couple of deer, a raccoon and a couple of a bear. At least he didn't capture pictures of this bare!

Why wear or take a shirt at all?

That is funny. Do you have any idea what you would have told him when he asked why you were hiking butt naked?Bill

I told my wife is that when I don't wear clothes I don't get chigger bites. I think the chiggers get in between your clothes. I was up there for 3 weeks and not one chigger bite. Actually I got one under my watch band. I don't know if that would fly with him but i was going to give it a shot. :-)

I do sun naked on my back deck and he lives next door but we do have a bit of foliage between us. He might have seen me if he peered through the trees. The couple times he has come over to my house to bring me some of his garden produce he has called out before reaching the door. Maybe as a warning.

It's usually in the 60's when I start my hike so pretty cool out. It's all uphill so by the time i get to the part where I disrobe I'm pretty warm. Also my wife (who is not a nudist) says I'm too old to be walking around in public without a shirt unless I'm at the beach. :-( I quit wearing it on the way back to the cabin because why get the shirt all sweaty for that short walk back.

I have definitely been caught on trail cams, including my brother-in-law's

And how did that go?

What is PCT?

RE:Walking naked

Is being seen naked on cam on a trail a big deal? I would not be at all concerned and the camera owner is being intrusive. Oersonally I would be happy to be seen and recorded walking naked

Personally I don't see it as being much of a big deal if I am seen naked like that. I'm fairly open about being a nudist, I've shared recognisable nude photos online for a long time and frequent clothing optional beaches where I don't care who sees me naked, so if another person sees me nude it won't make much difference to me. If an individual mounted CCTV on a public trail I would question it if it recorded areas that were not in the immediate vicinity of their property though. I can see why less open nudists might be concerned about being filmed while nude.

@ 1nakedbird - "... I locked my clothes in my truck so I wouldn't have them with me. A great feeling." I love walking like that too, so free, not weighed down with unnecessary clothing and unashamedly a nudist.
