I was stranded at uttarkashi while the gangis rocked the skies recently. As usual I was on a blissful journey, this time to gangotri. First few days I winessed the long episode of "destroyed in seconds" sitting at the river bank and sleeping in the lodge. I had tranformed into a man in single cloth, only a dhoti, I was called a baba soon. One early morning I went to kedarghat (the cremation ground) , where sadhus live around. The ITBP jawans were deployed, took dips in the roaring ganga (ofcourse nude) took 3 rounds of the peepal tree and gave sastang pranam at the kedarghat temple.
I was under bliss.
Next I went to the Vishwanath temple only the 2 metre cloth around my shoulder running down my waist.I was burning to stand nude inside the main temple. Mmmm the temple was empty at daylight the lord Vishwanath wated me to be nude with him too. I could drop my only cloth and pay my homage to the shiva inside the main sanctum. Moving out shiva accepted my thanks with my skin cling on the outer wall of the temple.
Only after the hug he let me go home.
My journey to gangotri remained unaccomplished, probably he wants me to return again.
Doston life is a journey. Nudity uner the sky & water sublimes desires and envokes freedom.
