Artistic Photos

This is a place to post your "artistic" photos for others to view and enjoy. However you choose to define "artistic" is up to each individual. The genesis of this idea for me was having taken some shadow/silhouette photos, wanting to share them, but not really knowing where to post them. They are "soft" nude photos that are more provocative than explicit. Hoping...

Definition of Artistic photo's

Return to Discussions

I'm not into censorship by the moderator regarding photo's but I think contributors need to think twice before posting. Close up's of cocks or vaginas is not artistic, that may be my opinion, but I reckon many would agree. If these were posted elsewhere on this site, they would be removed. Close up's are not artistic, they seem to be people trying to show off their bits. The lighting, context, angles etc. are usually poor, it seems to be people wanting to "push boundaries" or just focus on their bits. If you are going to post, think about how you would tryto justify to a gallery or a school or university art class how your photo is artistic.

I like the discussion here, plenty of comment. When I posted my question / concern / complaint, it was more about the poor quality of the photo's by many men (mostly they appear to be selfies) . The lighting was poor or the angles or the poses, they were just poor quality photo's in my opinion. I have no issues with the human body, show it in all it's forms, and yes we should show real people with all our flaws and imperfections, but focusing on the genitals? Nudity is all of the body, including the genitals, so I'm hoping this may create a challenge.

I pose this question in regard to genital close-ups; how many people here post close up pics of their hands or feet? Or more so their elbow or knee?

Nudism in all its forms is about all of our body and the life we live. Your photos should be the same.

We had been going well for many weeks, the dick pic's stopped. However, now they are back. To the poster, how are these artistic?

Well the dick pics with no artistic merit (in my opinion) are back. Why do these get through and good photo's get deleted?

Yes I agree if the focus is simply a genitally focused image with any artistic effort at composition lighting or artistic creativity they are irrelevant. But group mods make their own decision on stuff like that.

The definition of artistic photos is the 3 provided by dorne1958 in the group right now. Beautiful photo's. That's the standard people should be aiming at, IMHO.

Same dick pi's posted again. Mate, there is more to a good photo, an artistic photo than multiple close-up's of your dick. There is nothing creative about these photo's and the close up's are not good or funny. Moderator?

Some sensational photo's posted recently by Dorne, these are what creative / artistic photo's should be about, in my opinion. Dorne, setting a great standard, thanks for sharing. Have a look and comment if you haven't seen them.
