Artistic Photos

This is a place to post your "artistic" photos for others to view and enjoy. However you choose to define "artistic" is up to each individual. The genesis of this idea for me was having taken some shadow/silhouette photos, wanting to share them, but not really knowing where to post them. They are "soft" nude photos that are more provocative than explicit. Hoping...

I am doing an upcomingphotoshoot of a male and we talked about idea's and we came up with using food like chocolate syrup and maybe whip cream. Has anyone done this before and/or do you have picturesso I can get some idea's on poses to do?Thanks!!

RE: Photoshoot

I have had several Photo shoots exploring the male nude using some friends as models. I have done them using a studio set up with a couple of floodlights, and also outdoors on a secluded riverbank. I have used a variety of "props"at the various locations, though I must admit, I haven't used stuff like Chocolate and cream, Nor have I had the need to smear anything on the body.I findthis seldom works and I am inclined to avoid using them. Doing that, you will need the model's permision along with the facilities to clean it off.It all depends upon the subject and what you are trying to achieve, and some excelent results can be gained from the pose and lighting. Talking it through together with the subject helps also to gain the best result. Giving him some idea as to what it is you want. And of course visa versa, listening to the subject to his likes and dislikes help to create a relaxed atmosphere. May I wish you all the best in your endevour and if I can be of furthur help, give me a shout.

RE: Photoshoot

I did a photo-shoot with a man over the week end. I got him to take on many poses, all indoors as it was dark. But the best sequence was in the shower. I just got him to wet and soap himself and rinse off and dry. I just kept taking photos as he did it. The advantage is that the shots look natural, unlike posed shots. The downside is that there will be many shots which can best be disposed of. But that isn't a problem with a digital camera.
We didn't think of food stuffs, of washable paint. They can cause some stimulation of the model. And TN does not accept erections.
I much prefer to take outdoor, daytime shots. It offers a variety of settings which can themselves suggest poses. Again there is the possibility of spontaneity.
