The Girl Cave
Return to DiscussionsI have a 2001 Winnebago motor home, nick named the Girl Cave. It is run by a Ford Transit T350 motor and has been so reliable in the 5 years I've had it. I've spent nearly every winter for the last 8 years tripping around Australia with my two dogs. (One has recently met her maker and joined all the other deceased dogs at Rainbow Bridge.)
I pulled a caravan for the previous years before owning the Girl Cave and found that to be a lot of tough work for me, hitching and unhitching, etc. I love the Girl Cave and the freedom it gives me.
I have completed the lap over this past 8 years and there's still heaps to see.
Wish I had known of more nudist free camps. Let me know if you know of any.

I also spent quite a bit of time on the Ningaloo coast and surrounds. I am in awe of this amazing country and just love the lifestyle. I spent my winter/spring away each year. I found an accessible place to park up the The Girl Cave and spent a few days snorkelling. What a life, just too beautiful.
Your experiences sound awesome and you were lucky to meet like minded nudists on your travels. I must admit that being a woman travelling solo I am pretty wary of who I am with, only because I am cautious. Have travelled with others many a time, generally couples.

Hey Ronnie, I reckon many of us are jealous of your lifestyle. I'd be interested to know what you find it costs you to run your machine and roughly other travel costs, I'd love to do this but we still have 2 girls at Uni and until they are set up it's probably out of the question. Maybe 3-4 years we might be a chance. Also love it if you could post a state by state list of any free nude camps, the paying ones and other similar information, I guess the nude tour / itinerary as best you can. Understand there will be plenty of places where you are limited.
And well done on your many laps, you'll have so much information, some of which you may not know how relevant that may be to others.
