Beach Nudists.

Tell the group what nude beach you go to, where the location is, how often do you go, and what you like and don't like about it. Or tell us whatever the hell is on your mind lol. I put this group together to find out what beaches around the world are fun to go to in case people are traveling and wondering what a particular beach is like.

Sunnyside Beach, Melbourne, Australia

Hi everyone, just joined True Nudists, but been living as a nudist for nearly 30 years. Just telling you about our beach in my home town of Melbourne. We only have one within the city of Melbourne, and that is Sunnyside. It's a good beach, without being anything spectacular. Fairly narrow, but probably 500 meters long. No waves as it's inside a very large bay. I go several times a year, but now that I'm retired, will be attending a lot more - twice last week, we just need the weather to co-operate.
The negatives of the beach are several. Firstly, it's a long way from the city. I live just outside the city center, and it's 50kms away, and at least an hours drive. Frustrating that you've got to go so far to get to a clothing optional beach. Second negative is that last Monday the local council introduced pay parking for our beach. $6.50 an hour or $19 for the day. Don't know if anyone else thinks this is unreasonable, but I think we're being taken advantage of. It's bad enough with the cost of fuel that we've got to go so far to get there, but to then charge $20 for the nearby parking is annoying. But with it being the only beach in town, we just have to "grin and bare it"! Sorry.

(Checks your pictures to see if I can recognise myself in the background...nope...not this time...)

:-D

Always nice to get down there. There were waves on Friday with the weather that were great for splashing around.
