This from Treasure Coast Naturists this morning 1/15/26;

"Update on the Parking Area Construction

The County assures us they are doing everything possible to expedite the inspection process that will allow them to open the parking lot. We don't have a date yet, but it's still expected to be before the end of the month. As soon as we know, you'll know!"

I see this a few ways, One is that the construction is done and all that remains is for various County and State agencies to sign off on it. There is not a firm date for that to happen. All it takes is one agency to balk at it, or find something not to their liking and it can be further delayed. We all know how slow things can be with government agencies so since it is already the middle of the month, the end of the month may be optimistic. At least since it doesn't look like any decent beach weather for the next week and a half at least. it is not such a big deal, but once it warms up I sure hope it is open by then.
