Return to DiscussionsI've been to two places where the women were topless (not counting the nude beach or resort). One was when I had taken my wife to South Beach in Miami for her 40th birthday. We went to the beach right in front of our hotel and she pointed it out to me. (don't you just love her for showing me that?) The second was in Portoroz, Slovenia . We were on a cruise and got off the ship to go into the port town. We all bought swimsuits and went to the local beach nearby and many women were topless. Just seemed natural.
If a lady is topless is she nude or part nude? (It does not count with a man.) Ladies are often topless on French textile beaches. And, whilst Facebook bans nudity, it accepts women being bare chested as a protest - like for sexual equality.
Many times news reports state that a woman was naked, when in fact, she was only topless. That is not nude or naked. There is a difference and our whole language and meaning of words are being changed by a younger generation and those that have a hang up on labels. Being naked is being without clothes, down to bare skin... totally. If a woman is bottomless but has on a bra or a top covering her breasts, she's simply bottomless... and not naked.
Facebook, Twitter and several other social media sites are doing more harm than good for our younger generation. Those that continually use these sites, promote these site are part of this growing problem. Nudists need to be better than that and push back all these silly posts and news reports about people being naked or nude when in fact they are not.
If we are truly for women's equality and are for top freedom, then a woman is no more naked when topless then a man is without a top. It's time for nudists to get behind women's equal rights and stop sexualizing breasts... especially those that call themselves nudists/naturists. Stop joining these stupid groups started by perverted people that are pretending to b e nudists. You are better than that.
Think about this. Men can go topless, women can't in most places. So, there must be something wrong with woman's breasts. Both have nipples women have the fleshy part. the mammary glands and fat. Yet that is the part women can show! Not the nipples the part both have! Take a look at a fat man with a set of C cup man boobs and tell me the difference.
