Clothing Optional Days at Abbey House Gardens

Return to Discussions

Were there any other True Nudists at the Abbey House Gardens clothing optional day on Sunday.
I was able to get to there and had a very pleasant time meeting several old friends and some new ones as well as enjoying the gardens.
In spite of the pessimistic weather forecast there was a reasonable attendance and although it started to drizzle as soon as I dis-robed the day was a decent success with a reasonable naked attendance although there were almost as many textiles from time to time.
In spite of the couple of sessions of drizzle and overcast sky it was plenty warm enough for me to be naked all the time.
At last in mid-afternoon the sun started to break through giving us a pleasantly warm couple of hours at the end of the day. This was the cue for some of the textiles to reveal themselves as naturists, reducing the clothed quotient to much less than half.
One advantage of the poor weather forecast was that it was not too crowded for me to take a decent number of pictures and video footage which I will post after I have edited when I get home.I had gone to Abbey House Gardens en-route to the boat so I was able to take in the naked swim at Tewkesbury Cascades pool before arriving at the boat and stripping off to cook a naked supper.

I had a look at their web site which to be honest isn't that great. The house and grounds on the other hand look lovely.Unfortunately, I'm working that day, and also it's over 4 hours away, otherwise it could have possibly been my first social nude experience.Come on Sunday 4th Sept. There are some that come from far afield - was there on Friday, and there were visitors from as far as Suffolk.
