Ive messed with a bunch of seeds this summer, Lemon, Mango, Passion Fruit, Cherimoya, and Avacados.... all still growing strong..
NOW for winter time... ive got some Papaya, yellow Roses, Demon's Crocus (sp), Kiwi, and pot leaf Hibiscus ( I dont know the real name
for this one) NC gets cool enough to slow down growth but Im stubborn...haha... crossed fingers and will give this a go. Bought a plant
lamp to help out.. the sun room will get lightly heated so the plants dont catch a chill.....

RE:Winter projects...

My first winter project each year is to move my cactus collection inside. There is no way they would survive an Indiana winter. Some of them are over 20 yrs old and one is nearly as tall as me. Oh and they get heavier each year.

I hear ya there on the cactus. My one and only cactus resides in my basement in front of a picture window. My mother started a Christmas cactus from the original plant 40 years ago, but I recently trimmed it all back to the base. Slowly but surely its showing signs of recuperating.
